Breakfast foods are my favorite foods! I may not always eat them at normal breakfast time, actually I prefer them for supper. Is anyone with me on this? Normally, when you think of a breakfast sandwich, ideas of biscuits, eggs and bacon may come to mind. But, have you ever thought about using waffles instead of biscuits? Check out this easy recipe for a Waffle Breakfast Sandwich! Same egg and bacon, but with a twist of a waffle. And, you can even add the sweet taste of some syrup if you want!

8 delicious winter soup recipes

It makes my heart happy to finally get my butt in gear and bring you a cratfy Christmas related post!
I was contacted a few weeks ago by a representative of a company called Burlapfabric.com to see if I would like to receive some of their products to review.

Fabulous Five Minute Fudge

The Culinary Mama

I’ve seen some people make fudge in the slow cooker, but honestly, who has time for that! This recipe takes only 5 minutes to make and requires NO preparation and the great thing about it is you can make any variations you like to the standard recipe. I made classic chocolate topped with Jaffas and double layer white chocolate with sprinkles.

Natural Beauty Haul shared by Natalie Loves Beauty

Hi lovely Sew Crafty Angel readers! It's that time of the month again where I (Natalie Loves Beauty) get to share what's tickling my fancy in the beauty world. In my quest to introduce more natural products into my routine, I've been shopping a lot lately on my go-to website for all things health and beauty, iherb.com. If you're unfamiliar with this site, they offer thousands of great products at a discounted price, all in one place. My most recent order includes a few staples as well as a couple of new products that I'm really excited to try out. This is a smaller haul, but I still found it worthy of sharing. Hope you enjoy!

The first item I got is the Healthy Origins Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, because my last tub was nearing its end. Coconut oil is a staple of mine: I use it both on my skin and hair (more on that here) as it moisturizes like no other. I always look for cold-pressed, unrefined coconut oil, and this one is quite a good bargain considering how much you get. One container usually lasts well over a year, and that's with using the oil almost every day!

The next two items to go in my cart are the South of France Milled Bar Soaps, one in Lavender Fields and the other in Shea Butter. Since using the Landeva Organics Oatmeal and Pink Clay Facial Soap (reviewed here), I've been looking for other natural soap bars to try, and these sounded really great. They are pretty small, so I'm glad I ended up buying two as I know I will go through these rather quickly.

I've switched to a chemical-free toothpaste over the last six months, and when I saw that iherb carried the same brand I had previously bought at my local health store (at an even cheaper price!), the Now Solutions Xyli-White Toothpaste Gel, I added it straight away. This one has a nice, minty-fresh flavour, and whitens with papain and baking soda. Definitely a great toothpaste for anyone looking to switch to a natural one.

Finally, continuing with oral hygiene, I've been looking to switch my mouthwash, and came across the Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Mouthwash. I've tried a couple of other products from the brand, including their Thoroughly Clean Face Wash (reviewed here), so I'm really looking forward to try this one out and see how it performs.

If you are looking for affordable, natural beauty products to try, iherb.com is bound to have something for you. I've been using this online store for years and always come across new products to try. It's also great for international customers like me because shipping is so affordable. For extra savings, you can also use discount code FFM227 at checkout ($10 off orders over $40, and $5 off orders under $40).

Catch some of my previous hauls from iherb!

Christmas Eve

Here we are at midnight on Christmas Eve getting the room set up for
tomorrow morning.  I absolutely love Christmas.  What a beautiful
gift of love He shared with us.

I've always got to have my coffee no matter what time of day or nigh
it may be.  Here is my new Christmas cup for this year.
I love it!

This cute little gingerbread boy actually smells like cookies.

We put a tall skinny tree up in the TV room this year and the kids
wanted a lot of red and white ornaments.

An I of course had to have my this years Christmas Angel.
Also I found this lovely little tea set to use tomorrow.

Well, it's 2am and now I'm ready to go to bed.
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and may
God Bless You and lead you home in your hearts for the holiday wherever
you may be.

Being a mom at Christmas is like Super Woman on crack ! We do it all !!
Cook
Gifts
Clean
Elf
Christmas Pic
Cookies & Milk
Letter to Santa.
And the list could go on forever !!! So here i have a few free Christmas printables that will add a unique touch to any room if you just throw it in a frame.

Santa Claus Bread

This is such a great recipe and a fun “play with your food “recipe too. Santa Claus Bread! You can make it with refrigerator bread dough from the market, with your favorite bread dough or using the bread recipe provided. You will love serving this Santa Claus Bread to your family and guests. I am a Taste of Home blogger and it is my pleasure to share this recipe with you today.

I have really oily skin. (I thought I’d start you off with a little TMI. You’re welcome.) Mother Nature hasn’t really been too responsive to my protestations that I’m too old to rock the pizza-face look. I’ve been using a knock-off of the triple-step face stuff to no avail, because the real stuff is pretty expensive and apparently the cheap stuff doesn’t work.

I am going to share my Dining Room decorated in Pink, Gold and White for Christmas with you in 2 posts .

Glazed Holiday Cake Bites

Hey y’all!  I am so excited for Christmas!  Eeek!!  Today as part of the Christmas Treat Series I have the easiest best holiday treat!
Every Christmas Eve I make a big platter of assorted little sweets and I love finding new desserts to add in with all the traditional fudges and cookies.
These Glazed Holiday Cake Bites are adorable, festive and delicious.  The best part is you probably have all the ingredients on hand.

The Ultimate DIY – Saying Goodbye to Your Mom
Love My DIY Home
8x10 Mark & Val3 horiz3
While I sit here in the hospital with my mom, I thought I'd share a really great project with you that my daughter, April, did recently – a dresser turned tv stand.
But then I decided to just have a chat with you. To encourage you. To let you know what's up and that it's all good.

It's been a couple of months since I finished my last blanket. It was a special request by my daughter Nicole.

I was going to save it for Christmas but I was too excited and had to give it to her right away.

If you'd like the pattern please click HERE.

Meatball Sub Cups

This Silly Girl's Life
Not only is it the Holiday season it’s the Holiday PARTY season! I think I have said this about 100 times before but I loooove appetizers! From previous recipes on here, I love to make little bites of food. It’s so fun to go around sampling all the different flavors and cuisines!

Our Christmas tree is decorated with special, homemade ornaments that the kids have made at school or helped to make here at home.  We’ve found some great ideas for Clothespin Crafts and recently made these miniature snowflake ornaments.  They look beautiful on our tree and we made some extras for decorating our Christmas gifts too!

We started out making Christmas trees using styrofoam cones covered with candy.  We were planning to make trees using candy melts, gum drops and M&M’s.  But someone (me!) ate all the gum drops, so we ended up using peppermints instead.

DIY Gold Monogrammed Anthropologie Knock Off Mug

Who doesn't love something cozy and hot for the wintertime! When I saw this pin, I fell in love with how simple and elegant these mugs looked, but also how they would make the perfect hostess/teacher gifts. Not to mention I get to use a Gold Sharpie and get to DIY a mug, and that I had to make one for myself.

We have always admired  paper roses gathered in elegant balls … admired from afar because the price is generally inaccessible!

Our life is full with different interests these days. The fast pace, there is a lot to get done, the routine is intensive, the days goes by fast and before we notice another week is over which was sometimes good and sometimes less.
And what happens on the way? When will we feel a sense of accomplishment or progress? How would we know that we progressed to the place we want? How would we accomplish our dreams and things we want to make happen?
The keyword here is planning!
